Float Reservation – Important Details & Reminders

TRIP DETAILS
Your public float trip experience lasts approximately 6 hours total, including transportation to and from Austin. Actual time on the river is usually 3 to 3.5 hours.

We strongly recommend taking an Uber or rideshare to the pickup location, as parking is very limited. If you plan to drive, please allow extra time to find parking and arrive early.

COOLERS & RENTALS
Cooler setups are not included with public trips. If you would like to reserve any of the items below, please notify us at least 24 hours before your trip. We cannot accommodate rental requests on the day of your trip.
- Cooler setup (cooler, ice, and cooler tube): $28 each
- Cooler tube only (for your own cooler): $15 each
- Life jacket rental: $5 each
Ice is available for purchase at the store near the pickup area.
IMPORTANT: We do not provide lockers. Please bring as little as possible. We are not responsible for lost, stolen, or forgotten items.
RETURN SCHEDULE
Please be mindful of the amount of time you spend on the river. You will be sharing transportation with other groups, and we ask that everyone return on time.
The average float takes about 3 to 3.5 hours. If you do not exit the river in time, the shuttle may leave without you and you will be responsible for arranging your own transportation back to Austin.
Please follow the schedule below based on your pickup time:
11:00 AM Pickup
- Exit the river and be ready for pickup by 3:45 PM
- Arrive back in Austin around 5:00 PM
11:45 AM Pickup
- Exit the river and be ready for pickup by 4:30 PM
- Arrive back in Austin around 5:45 PM
12:30 PM Pickup
- Exit the river and be ready for pickup by 5:15 PM
- Arrive back in Austin around 6:30 PM
RIVER RULES & SAFETY
- No glass containers.
- No Styrofoam.
- Do not litter.
- Please help by picking up any loose trash you see.
- People live along the river—please be respectful.
- Exit the river only at the designated exit point.
- All land along the river is private property. Do not enter or stop on private property.
- Exiting the river anywhere other than the designated exit point may be considered trespassing. Purple painted posts or trees mark private property and may indicate felony trespass areas.
- If you have an emergency, you may exit the river at any time.
- Please drink responsibly. Alcohol, heat, and sun can be dangerous. Stay hydrated and look out for yourself and your group.
- Use the trash bags we provide for all trash and cans.
- Do not tie your tubes together. This is for your safety. Tubes can get caught in trees, pop, or slow down your float significantly.
